Maybe it’s providential that the world is finding out about the practice of Live Birth Abortion in the United States just before the election, specifically in Obama’s home state of Illinois.

In case you haven’t heard, children with birth defects (or for any reason) are forced to be born prematurely and left to die — and in one facility, in a cold urinal. Then the *physician signs the birth and death certificates at the same time. The mortuary picks up the child’s body, and all is soooo respectable.

On Jill’s site, there is an account of a woman conned into killing her child who has a birth defect. What is most distressing is that she consulted her parish priest beforehand. He apparently gave her the green light.
My husband and I drove home and called our pastor. We’re Catholic and we thought, “We can’t have an abortion.” Our priest told my husband that because the baby wasn’t viable, we could go ahead and induce. We didn’t expect that answer.
I had an appointment with my doctor the next day. He said I had to make a decision really soon. He kept saying he was a Christian and he would not perform an abortion, that this was not an abortion.
All the medical personnel I talked to never explained why I had to make my decision really soon. But they kept pressuring me.
To this priest and those like him, I ask
What in HELL is wrong with you?!
