I met Chaplain Vakoc when I first arrived in Kuwait and he consoled me over the lost of my grandmother. He was very attentive, caring, and funny. I will never forget talking to him the day of the incident and later on in disbelief that he was injured. My heart hurts for his family and friends but I know he is in a better place.

From SGT Petty to Chaplain Vakoc, I love you, miss you and will never forget you.
